IE? Wow. I use fire fox and I have that problem, too. But if I really want to view the pic, I open IE and I can see them. or if the picture is downloadable, I just click the option and I can view it. But that doesn't work with older pics...

So yeah... I really don't know =/

Internet Explorer. You weren't the only one missing stuff, I checked someone elses and half of theirs was gone too. I know at one point mine didn't show up to some people. I just reloaded the pics.
